Swedish Massage: Swedish Massage, or 'classic massage' as it is also known, utilizes five basic strokes to address the surface and deep tissue layers of muscle, fascia and connective tissue. It is a fluid, hands-on modality that leaves the body relaxed and refreshed by increasing circulation, flushing accumulated toxins, stimulating the parasympathetic state of the nervous system and assisting with the balancing of hormones.
Deep Tissue:Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two, which is why we work with clients to help relieve these aches and pain through developing healthy habits and exercises that will improve one's overall wellbeing
Polarity Therapy: Polarity is an energy-based system that can be as simple as balancing the left side (negative) of someone’s body with the right side(positive) of someone’s body to assist with relaxation (neutral). It is a Five Element (Ether, Air, Fire, Water, Earth) system that associates body parts with each element. The goal of a treatment focuses on balancing the elements (essential to all living beings) to treat the package of physical, emotional, and mental imbalances. Developed by Dr. Randolph Stone, Polarity Therapy is a healing art that restores the vital energy assisting someone to a relaxed and energized balance.
Reflexology: Using stimulation of specific reflexes on the feet, Reflexology helps to improve the function and bring balance to corresponding organs, connective tissue, bony structure, body systems, and energic pathways. While this treatment is much deeper & specific than a traditional foot massage, most people find it to be one of the most relaxing modalities we offer.
Myofascial Release: Fascia is the soft tissue component of the connective tissue that provides support and protection for most structures within the human body, including muscle. This soft tissue can become restricted due to overuse, trauma, infectious agents, or inactivity, often resulting in pain, muscle tension, and corresponding diminished blood flow. Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. The therapy relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles.

What is Core Synchronism?
Core Synchronism is a system of hand medicine designed to assist nature in establishing harmony with all parts of the organism.
How does is it work?
In the Core Synchronism model, the human organism is comprised of the mental/emotional, etheric and physical bodies* and is animated by the core current.
The core current can be palpated on the crown of the head, and with practice everywhere in the organism. The current is responsible for the movement of cerebrospinal fluid out of the brain.
Pain is the result of a body part (mental/emotional, etheric, physical) being out of synch with the core current and cerebrospinal fluid. Disharmonious motion causes friction, which produces inflammation, which then results in pain or discomfort.
By reestablishing synchronistic balance with the core current, cerebrospinal fluid and the dyssynchronistic body part —through palpation and focused intent— harmony is restored to the organism thus breaking the pain-discomfort cycle.
What conditions does Core Synchronism treat?
Core Synchronism is not pathology specific. It is a mechanical system designed to restore harmony to the organism. Establishing balance results in activating an individual’s self-healing ability.
Core Synchronism is deeply relaxing, safe, and gentle, hence there are no contraindications for treatment.
Things to know about receiving a Core Synchronism treatment--
Core Synchronism practitioners are not healers. The person receiving treatment is responsible for his or her own healing, which is accomplished by the individual’s life energy, the core current.
Then what is the Core Synchronism practitioner responsible for?
Practitioners of Core Synchronism are mechanics. Their responsibility is to establish balanced body motions and synchronistic relationships, which will result in deep states of relaxation where healing ultimately takes place.

Things to know about receiving a Core Synchronism treatment--
- During a core treatment the client lies comfortably on the table, and remains clothed. Since Core Synchronism treatments are deeply relaxing, you may fall asleep, which in no way reduces the potential effectiveness of the treatment.
- There are no belief systems required in order to benefit from the potential effectiveness of the treatment.
- A person receiving treatment will feel the gentle touch of a practitioner’s hands on various parts of the body including the head, feet, and areas related to the locations of pain and discomfort.
- There are no contraindications for treatments, including acute and chronic illnesses. As a result of improved mechanical balance and relaxation, acute healing may be expressed as agitation or other symptoms of discomfort. This is a positive direction that may ultimately result in improvement on all levels.
